Using MESOLANE

Using MESOLANE means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

MESOLANE is an independent, unofficial community market and item reference. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Nexon or Discord.

Only use MESOLANE and connected services if you are legally permitted to do so.

Marketplace rules

Keep your listings accurate and up to date. Only post trades you genuinely intend to make. Follow the law and the rules of the game and services you use.

Other users can see your listing details and public trader identity. This can include item details, stats, price, quantity, IGN, notes, and trade or Store information. Do not post confidential, unlawful, abusive or unrelated content.

Misleading or abusive listings

Do not knowingly post false, misleading, fraudulent, impersonating or spam listings. Do not use listings or reports to harass another player, share malicious links or content, or flood the site with automated posts.

Fraud and market manipulation

Do not use fake listings, misleading prices, coordinated listings or artificial duplicate supply or demand to distort the market. Do not make an item look more or less common, active or valuable than it really is.

This includes manipulating displayed supply, activity, popularity or Price Insight. Do not use an account, listing or price to create a deceptive impression of the market.

Trading with other players

MESOLANE helps players find items, post BUY or SELL listings, and contact each other. Prices and offers are in mesos. MESOLANE does not provide a real-money marketplace, hold game items or mesos, process payments for MapleStory items, or take custody of trades.

MESOLANE is not a party to trades. We cannot guarantee a trader's identity, a listing's accuracy or availability, or that a trade will finish. Before completing a trade, check the item, stats, condition, price and other trader yourself.

Contact traders directly in game using their IGN, or use Discord where available. Discord is not required for trade contact. External profile and contact links leave MESOLANE. Protect your credentials and follow the rules of Discord, MapleStory and any other service you use.

Reading Price Insight

Price Insight is an informational estimate from available listings. It is not an official MapleStory price or a guaranteed value. Limited data, outliers, timing and item condition can affect it. Check current listings before trading.

Reports and moderation

You can report an active listing. A report does not automatically lead to punishment. We review reports when needed, and action depends on the circumstances.

We can keep listing evidence, dismiss a report or leave a listing up. We may remove listings, restrict trading or marketplace access, or suspend accounts when we reasonably believe this is needed to enforce these terms, prevent abuse or protect users and the service.

Abuse, security risks, repeated violations and interference with the service can lead to restrictions or suspension. False or abusive reports are prohibited. Reporter identities and internal moderation evidence are not public.

Accounts and site security

MESOLANE uses Discord identity information for sign-in, listing ownership, public trader identity and optional contact links. Keep your Discord account secure. You are responsible for activity through your account and for the accuracy of information you submit. Do not share passwords, verification codes or account credentials.

Account-age, human-verification, listing-credit, rate and moderation controls can limit listing features. Do not bypass these or other security controls. Do not access the site without authorization, interfere with its operation, or collect data in ways that break applicable rules.

Data, other services and intellectual property

We use Discord for sign-in and optional contact links, Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare Turnstile for human verification. Google Analytics measures page views when analytics is enabled. The optional Support MESOLANE link opens Buy Me a Coffee.

These services, and Nexon and MapleStory services, have their own terms and policies. Their availability and decisions are outside our control. MESOLANE does not control Discord, and Discord does not endorse MESOLANE. Discord's own terms and privacy practices apply when you use it.

Game content and other people's work

MESOLANE does not own MapleStory, Nexon game content, or other people's trademarks and copyrighted work. Do not use the site to infringe anyone's rights. Read the intellectual property notice for more detail.

Availability and responsibility

MESOLANE is provided as available. Features, data, limits and availability can change. The service can be interrupted or discontinued, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Our community tools and user-generated information are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, secure or suitable for a particular purpose. This includes listings, item data, prices, user identities, links and service availability.

Where applicable law allows, MESOLANE is not responsible for losses from user-to-user trades, reliance on listings or Price Insight, third-party services, or service interruptions. This does not exclude responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. Your trade and account decisions remain your responsibility.

Changes and contact

We can update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top changes when an updated version is published. If you continue using MESOLANE after publication, the updated terms apply to your future use.
